Musician ~ Singer ~ Songwriter After returning to the music scene from a 7 year hiatus back in 2003, DB Hackett has found a renewed passion for his music. His desire has brought him back to what he does best... writing & performing his own original songs. He is dedicated and acutely focussed on his path, nothing will slow him down or stand in his way...nothing. Originally from Waynesboro, PA and coming from a musical family, DB resides in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Influenced by Waylon Jennings, Ronnie Van Zant, Hank Williams, Jr... outlaw country, traditional country and southern rock music. DB Hackett is a melody maker and songwriter, he's penned countless original songs, as well as, co-written many songs with various artists. His musical style meanders primarily through country/rock/southern rock but every now and then he'll surprise you with some modern rock tunes. DB Hackett is well received by his audiences, his natural talent shines through every performance. DB Hackett is a founding member of the "Brick Yard Road Band" out of Fayetteville, NC and toured the southeastern region for many years. Previously a member of "Rewind Blue" from Asheville, NC who performed in the Western North Carolina region. In 2013, DB Hackett formed his own Country-Rock band, "The DB Hackett Band". After relocating to an area a couple hours away, The DB Hackett Band was disbanded. Currently, DB performs with "Deuces Wild" in Spartanburg, SC.   |
